Do not experiment with new make-up techniques or cosmetics just before any important occasion.

Keep your make-up brushes and sponges clean by washing them in warm soapy water once in about ten days. Rinse them thoroughly with plain water afterwards.

Use a clean blusher brush to blend, instead of the brush that you use for applying.

After applying your make-up, check to see that there are nosmudges. Take a large clean powder brush and lightly brush your face, ta remove excess powder, or eye shadow that may have dropped on your face.
